💛MY STORY: BELLY DANCE TO HEAL ENDOMETRIOSIS💛
Hello! My name is Luz, and I am the founder of Lightupyourdance a website created for women experiencing endometriosis who seek a healthier life, expanded minds, and a deeper connection with their bodies through dance and self-care. I’m from Cali, Colombia, a city where dance is not only a passion but also a cherished tradition passed down through generations and shared with the world.
In addition to being a belly dancer, I am also a teacher of foreign languages (English-Spanish). Currently, I teach Spanish as a second language online at www.ludiclanguage.com.
Belly dance has brought me many benefits and helped me live a better life even while experiencing endometriosis. I love sharing my passion for belly dance with other women, encouraging them to dance for healing and for themselves: to love and care for who they are, and to rediscover the light each one carries within. I believe that healing and transformation are always within reach when you summon the courage to take action and chase your dreams.

In the DANCE TO HEAL community, we carry out 30-day exercises to shift our mindset and achieve our goals. These exercises must be completed in order and without missing a single day. If you miss one, you’ll need to start over, as it’s crucial to cultivate the willpower to improve. NO EXCUSES!
Please note that I’m not a psychologist, but applying these exercises in my own life—alongside my career as a language teacher and now a belly dance instructor—has given me the tools to create personal growth resources that I now want to share with as many women as possible.
